Tucker is on this news clip at minute marker 2:40 he is walking down the hall and then again you can see the back of his head a little later.
Isn't my boy handsome?!?!?!? Tim is with him right now poor kid is half asleep, he was sound asleep before Tim got there. They are trying to make their way home. Tim said the new GPS feature on his phone was awesome tonight helping them find a better way than the main crazy road to get to the boys. Tucker and his buddy Trey ride the bus together and are in the same class. Tim and Dave (Trey's dad) left at 8:45 to go get them, Tim called at 10:50 to say he had my boy with him. I got to talk to the graugy little man. He is staying home with me tomorrow!!!!! His teacher said school doesn't start until 11:00 but if they missed that is great they need their rest.

SNOW much fun! NOT

Storm forces students to stay at school, buses stuck on roads

(KSL News) Over 300 students from three elementary schools in
Utah County have been taken back to school this evening after their buses could
not get them home due to the storm.

Administrators at Fox Hollow
Elementary School, Ridgeline Elementary School and Harvest Elementary School say
the students are safe and warm and have food at the schools. The teachers and
administrators are there with them.

There are additional 10 buses full
of students from Harvest Elementary School, Ridgeline Elementary School and
Summit Elementary school that are stuck in the snow on S.R. 92 and S.R. 93.

Eyewitness News will bring you more information as it becomes available.

Well our little Tucker is one of the 10 busses stuck in route back to the school. He is STILL on his bus and it is 7:10 right now, they get out of school at 3:30. The bus driver said she made a privacy spot in the back and let those who needed to go pee in a trash can so they wouldn't have an accident. The road to the school is still closed so we don't know when we'll be able to go get them. It's awful not being able to get to your child. I'm sure that Tucker has everything under control and is helping the bus driver navigate. LOL It could be worse though, this is just a snow storm and not some crazy person. We will just look at it as a BIG ADVENTURE!

* Update, as of 8:15 he is finally at the school, he has eaten and is running around playing in the gym! Where we go from here who knows!

SNEAKY

So our cute little stinker of a 2-year old didn't want to go to bed tonight! He first came out needing his socks off. (he had gone to bed with them over the top of his jammies, silly boy!) Then I thought I heard someone coming down the stairs. I went around the corner and there he sat on the bottom step, with his hands over his eyes. I'm sure he thought he was invisible to any passersby. I ran back hoping he didn't see me and grabbed the camera. Upon my return this is what I caught! Who could resist that smile?!

The next 2 photos are recreated, I had to have them to scrap the cute story! if you are a scrapper you will understand, if not you will think I'm loony. Either way.

House

Many of you already know that we have to move out of our current rental, our landlords need to sell this place. So off on another new adventure! Here are some pics of our new digs. We are moving on Sat. March first so if you want....

Anniversary Eve

If I wasn't lazy I'd add a picture of our wedding, oh well I guess you know I'm lazy!

Tonight was our anniversary eve. Tim happened to get home from work early so we decided to go somewhere, where we weren't quite sure! We went to the mall and then decided to go out to eat to the Olive Garden, the 3 kids and all. We had a fabulous time!!!! We wouldn't have the 3 little ones if it hadn't been for tomorrow, after all. Well… at least I'd like to think we wouldn't! Anyway, I got a fabulous compliment from my hubby; he said my breadsticks were better than the Olive Gardens!!!!!!!!!! Can you get better than that! It was nice after the comment from Abbey this morning! (see previous post) LOL
The kids were very well behaved and Porter loved the food! He clapped and cheered when I gave him more salad. What 2 year old likes salad? And one with tangy vinegar dressing? Oh Well, he LOVED it. And then we gave him some of Tucke’rs alfredo and he cheered some more, he even announced to the waiter that he needed more! What a silly kid. However, he didn't want any chocolate dessert, how weird is that? Actually even the oldest kids didn't have much of the dessert, oh well, Tim and I enjoyed it!!! It was a fun night out as a family. I'm very thankful for the last GREAT 10 years, and look forward to many more!! It has flown by; I guess time does fly when you are having fun! And who better to have fun with than your BEST friend?

I do remember that 10 years ago it wasn't as snowy as this year!!! I had short sleeves on my wedding dress and I didn't even need a coat for pictures, no one had a coat on for the pictures. It was beautiful and sunny! It did start with flurries later at night but was absolutely perfect for the daytime!

Pretty

So this morning I'm doing my hair and Abbey says "that looks cute mom, you just look like someone who is pretty and not my mom" Okay now I feel like a 30 year old mom for sure!!!!! (I have to admit though it is a good hair day!)

Tucker's writing book

Tucker brought home his writing book from school yesturday. It was so cute I wanted to save it but it is a little big to go into a scrap book. So... I copied it into word, found a cute kid handwriting font, printed it out and there you have it... in the scrap book and DONE! You can see it to if you would like by clicking on this link and downloading it.
It's actually quite entertaining, but then I and biased!

Jazzed

Tim and Tucker were able to go see the Jazz game last night against the San Antonio Spurs. Tim asked Tuck "if you could pick one thing to do what would it be?" and right off he said go to the Jazz game, I don't think he even knew they were playing! He was sooo excited.

Ketchup

The other day Tim and I were on the couch and Abbey came and climbed on top of us and said "Now it's a daddy sandwich!" I said we looked more like a hot dog. Well then Tucker came in the room and of course piled on too and Abbey said "well I must be the ketchup!" We were laughing so hard we had to have the kids climb off.

Christmas {Pictures}

They are finally here, I've been meaning to get them up with stories behind each photo and it hasn't happend so here they are a la carte!

Chrismas Eve we exchanged gifts with everyone
Tim gave Abbey a Princess crown
I gave Porter a Thomas Train
Tucker gave Tim jerky
Abbey gave Tucker a 4-wheeler
Porter gave me scrapbook supplies (what a smart kid, I'm not sure who helped him figure that one out LOL)
Then we made homemade ice cream in our new ice cream maker that we got for Christmas from Jason and Dani. It was delicious! At first we thought it was a dud maker until we realized that cute Tucker had put the extra bowl from the cupboard on the machine instead of the one from the freezer, when we finally got it figured out wala yummy ice cream!

Picture with Santa

Here is our picture with Santa, too bad we didn't know it was going to happen that day we would have been a bit more polished. We were on one of our Saturday outings which happened to include Cabela's that day and Santa was there with his elves taking pictures. The kids love to go to Cabela's the only problem was that during the holidays with all those extra shoppers the fish weren't too hungry and it wasn't as much fun, they are glad to have it back to themselves.

Insurance SUCKS

I just have to say that I HATE all the politics and loop holes of insurance and Dr.s offices!!!!!! You just get them somewhat figured out and then they change on you. But the great thing is I have a fabulous husband who says you know what it's just money it doesn't matter and he's right it doesn't but I'm still not done being mad at the situation yet!
What happened to insurance for the patient and not for making money?
okay off my soapbox
