Muddalicious

Our kids had a grand old time in our 'swimming pool' oh it was forever ago but now I'm finally posting it. It was all fun until I took them out front and hosed them off with the cold water hitting them from the hose! I had to rehose their clothes too after they took them off!!! and I washed them 3 times to get all the mud out!!! And of course they were new clothes. well....new to them anyway I scored them at the DI. and how cute is that shirt of Abbey's for $2 and Tucks shorts were only $2. I love good deals!

Abbey on swimming and teeth

Tim was tucking in Abbey one night and she wanted all of her blankets on her. Which would have been way to hot since it has warmed up a lot. here is their conversation.

Tim   "you'll be too hot with all those blankets on you, you'll get all sweaty."

Abbey  "that's okay sometimes I like to get sweaty it feels like I'm going swimming"

Seriously where do kids come up with these things?

Abbey has now lost her 5th tooth, you are all probably sick of seeing posts about losing teeth! This last one was lose and then she got bumped by cousin Bryson and cried about the blood OH NO BLOOD AHHHH. And then 2 days later right as we were sitting down at church she bumped it on Tim's knee and started waling about yet more blood, poor little thing a lose tooth that bleeds. So after church she was saying how she could put her finger behind it. I told her to just pull it out. She looked at me like it just had never occurred to her to do such a thing. She went inside got a tissue and in one tug it was out, I wish I had had the camera because she was in shock that it took just one tug. Now she has  the infamous no top teeth smile that all little kids get but.....she still managed to eat corn on the cob without those teeth, she was determined I tell ya!
Here is our little "snaggle tooth" as Tim has called her with that one tooth
just hanging there for weeks it seems.
I took this pic after church anticipating that it would soon be gone.

is that thing ready or what?
And here is her new grin!
look close there is also on missing on the bottom, I don't know how she eats.
oh wait SHE DOESN'T unless it's peanut butter sandwiches.

Potti-ism

We were out to eat and  someone was having a hard time getting thing done if you know what I mean (smile)

And by the title I think you can tell where this conversation takes place.......

Porter-  "Mom this is awful!"

It was so hard to not burst out laughing!!!
and then to top it off Abbey pipes in "what does awful mean?"

Mother's Day ideas

Hey I found the PERFECT shoes we ALL need to ask our families to get them for our Mother's Day presents!!!!! Not only are they very eye pleasing but also very practical!!
The first pair is perfect for running errands and playing at the park with your kids! Chasing little toddlers would never look so great until these babies were put on your feet, plus I bet you could run really fast and definitely NOT fall flat on your face or you wonderful "mom but"  or buuuuuut as my sister refers to it as. Check out the traction on these babies!
And this next pair is PERFECT for Sunday!!!!
These baby's will support you as you keep your kids quiet, take out the little one for a diaper change and carry 20 different kind of church bags
I.E. scripture bag, keep the kids quiet bag and don't forget the lesson bag.
These wonderful shoes would support all those things plus keep you looking HOT and comfortable too!!!!!!!!!!!! So let me know what you think of these great finds!!! I told Tim I need some ASAP!!!!

A trip to the tulip festival (one of many)

Abbey called her friend awhile ago to see if HE could play. I talked to his mom and they were thinking of going to the tulip festival, so we all went. (I have to apologize that I didn't post these earlier, I should have so you all could have had a chance to come to it, it's amazing)
I was talking to said friends mom when I turned my head to see the 2 of them walking down the sidewalk like this.......

Is that the cutest?
Good thing next year they will think that boys and girls are gross!
Tim said "Slow her down!!!" with a smile of course.

WOW its been tooooooo long...

Is this the cutest picture or what?
If you don't know our little Briley you may not understand, she has hipotonia which means low muscle tone. So for her to be sitting up is so amazing! I finally had to lay her down because I could tell she was getting tired.
She belongs to my sister Janene, she and her 3 youngest came over last week.
Porter had to climb in Brecklin's car seat, then he had me help him stand up and declared
 "look I'm a turtle!!!"
I was laughing so hard! He had it all planned out! I thought it was very creative!

And here he is after he lost his balance and fell backwards =)
