SNOW much fun! NOT

(this is a pic of our exit)

Storm forces students to stay at school, buses stuck on roads
February 13th,
2008 @ 6:58pm
(KSL News) Over 300 students from three elementary schools in
Utah County have been taken back to school this evening after their buses could
not get them home due to the storm.

Administrators at Fox Hollow
Elementary School, Ridgeline Elementary School and Harvest Elementary School say
the students are safe and warm and have food at the schools. The teachers and
administrators are there with them.

There are additional 10 buses full
of students from Harvest Elementary School, Ridgeline Elementary School and
Summit Elementary school that are stuck in the snow on S.R. 92 and S.R. 93.

Eyewitness News will bring you more information as it becomes available.

Well our little Tucker is one of the 10 busses stuck in route back to the school. He is STILL on his bus and it is 7:10 right now, they get out of school at 3:30. The bus driver said she made a privacy spot in the back and let those who needed to go pee in a trash can so they wouldn't have an accident. The road to the school is still closed so we don't know when we'll be able to go get them. It's awful not being able to get to your child. I'm sure that Tucker has everything under control and is helping the bus driver navigate. LOL It could be worse though, this is just a snow storm and not some crazy person. We will just look at it as a BIG ADVENTURE!

* Update, as of 8:15 he is finally at the school, he has eaten and is running around playing in the gym! Where we go from here who knows!

So glad Tuck is back at school with the basic necessities. I can't wait to hear his take on this adventure.

9:50 pm KSL TV just said the kids may spend the night at school sounds like a party for the kids and a little more responsibility for the school and the teacher. I can't wait to hear Tucker's story it should be good. oh the neighbors have brought in blankets and extra food. We live in a great place. GS
